WEEKLY REFLECTION 7 WEEKLY REFLECTION 7 15/08/22 – 19/08/22 It was the last week of my teaching practice. However, this week starts with a beautiful day August 15(Independence Day). At 8.30 I reached the school to attend the flag hoisting. HM and other teachers and students were present. After that HM speaks about the importance of Independence Day and the struggle faced by the freedom fighters to gain the freedom. A message was also given by each teacher. Later different programs were conducted such as quiz, patriotic song competition etc. Overall, it was a great day. In that week the English teacher of the school told us to teach the lessons from the first unit also for the onam exam. So, the last week at the school was very busy and we worked hard to finish the lessons. I got some substitution hours and I took the remaining portions. WEEKLY REFLECTION 6 WEEKLY REFLECTION 6 08/08/22 – 12/08/22 The second phase of teaching practice is going well. 6 weeks of teaching practice have passed. A lot of experience was gained during this period. The first day of sixth week starts with a morning assembly. In the sixth hour I went to IX and took the lesson listen to the mountain. ICT were used in the class and meaning of the difficult words were given through images and videos. Silent reading was also given in the class. As usual in the afternoon we served the meals for the students In the second day of the week the tool prepared for the project were given to the students to collect the data. WEEKLY REFLECTION 5 WEEKLY REFLECTION 01/08/22 – 05/08/22 The fifth week at the school was not a good week for me. Because due to heavy rain and bad weather majority of the students were absent in the class. And it is very difficult to reach the school due to heavy rain at the morning. We need to cover so many portions on time, but due to these problems it was not possible. In the first day of the week, I reached the school at 9.30 am and signed the attendance register.
