WHY I CHOOSE TO STUDY B.ED COURSE ?

               

 

         When we do things with love, it makes all the difference   in the world. While choosing a career path filled with   enthusiasm it can be likened to giving out that small piece of   fiery passion out to the future generation, like the strong light       from a burning candle...

                                                                

                                   While back in my school days I remember myself as "the invisible kid" in the corner. The teachers I came across my life till now have shaped me and helped in realizing what it means to be kind, strong and different.  I used to love the way English teachers taught, full of life and passion beaming through their eyes. It wasn't just about eating up some books, and it was learning about life and sharing the different views of it... I want to be the teacher, the one who lights up a child's life, to bring up a student's self worth, teach them to be kind and prepare them to understand the changing world critically.  The kind of teacher who shares experiences about life, prepares students to be a good human being foremost and prepare them to attain knowledge to get ahead in life.   

                                               

 

                        At the end of World War II, this letter was found in a Nazi concentration camp. It is addressed to teachers...

 

 ❝ Dear teachers,

                                             I am a survivor of a concentration camp. my eyes saw what no man should witness; gas chambers built by learned engineers , children poisoned  by educated physicians ,  infants killed by trained nurses, women and babies shot and burnt by high school and college graduates. So I'm suspicious of education. My request is: help your students become human. Your efforts must never produce learned monsters, skilled psychopaths, and educated illiterates. Reading, writing, arithmetic are important only if they serve towards making our children more humane ❞

                     Teaching is the profession on which all other professions depend, hence giving the role of a social engineer to teachers. In teaching there are facts, principles, methods and structured curriculum etc. In order to understand in depth the different styles of teaching, the psychology of the students, the qualities, roles and responsibilities of teaching to impart knowledge, values, desirable behavior etc. I have chosen this course to become an effective and efficient educator.
