WEEKLY REFELCTION 4
WEEKLY REFECTION 4
(25 July 2022 – 29 July 22)
The fourth week of my teaching practice was a memorable one. The first day of the week start with an assembly and the teachers assigned us the duty to assemble the students for the morning assembly. All the students assembled in the ground and the assembly was conducted by x A students. The assembly started with a prayer and then pledge. After that session, students read the important news of that day. Quiz was also conducted and the students answered well. Later Sushama teacher (HM) provided some instructions for the students to be disciplined in the school. Then she asked a question and a student named Ajay given the answer. Finally, the students sung the national anthem and the assembly dispersed. Due to assembly my first hour at VIII C started at 10.28 am, but I discussed some questions in the class related to the lesson that I had taught. In the afternoon, we served the meals for the students.
As usual the second day of the fourth week started with an assembly and this time students of X B conducted the assembly. The assembly started with a prayer and then pledge. The students explained about Kargil Vijay diwas and send a message. I got a period at VIII B and I completed the lesson The Shipwrecked Sailor and discussed the important questions. In the afternoon session we served the meals for the students. In the sixth hour I went to VIII C and took the remaining portion of From a Railway Carriage.
In the third day I got a substitution hour at IX A. I interacted with the students and they were very friendly. After some time, I understand that the students were bored. So, I decided to use sociometry to find out the stars, cliques, and isolates in the class. Students also agreed and I explained everything about sociometry to the students. Then I asked the students to select those with whom they would likes to work. Each students makes their choice, and from that data, I constructed a sociogram. After analysing the sociogram I understand who are stars, cliques and isolate in the class.
In the fifth day, I got and hour at VIII C and took the remaining portion of From a Railway Carriage and completed the lesson. I had given them some homework’s. In the 4th hour I got a substitution hour at VIII B and completed the lesson The Shipwrecked Sailor . As usual we served the meals for the students in the afternoon session.
